The series that I create are evidence of my need to sustain a courtship with nature.  The Dendrochronology series stemmed from a fascination with the trees I have seen “downed” along Seattle streets.  I find intricate detail and mystery in observing the life of a tree, its character created by scars. It is my belief that nature creates profound beauty.
