Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest,

       Valiant grew up in a quiet farm valley tucked into the foothills that lie beneath the Cascade Mountains of Washington. Raised to follow the family tradition of gardening with an appreciation for nature. Growing up in such compelling and beautiful terrain, he quickly developed a profound love for his surroundings.

      Valiant began to photograph nature in an attempt to capture and share those irreplaceable flickering glimpses that are revealed to us so briefly and in the most surreal of moments. Capturing stirring images that can cause us to question our own presumptive perspectives, and further open our minds to the possibilities of what nature can truly show us about ourselves.
