My favorite medium, for as long as I can remember, has been watercolor. I was envious of anyone having this talent.

 

When I moved back " home" after 40 years to my beautiful Adirondacks in 2005, I had the wonderful luck of meeting one of the artists in the Upper Hudson Valley Watercolor society.

She introduced me to another member who was giving lessons in watercolor painting. I quickly signed up before I lost my nerve.

 

Taking lessons, meeting and painting with others, plus the bonus of having all the great views of the Adirondacks in my back yard gives me all the inspiration I need.

 

My paintings are a celebration of growing up in the Adirondacks and the privilege of coming home to my roots.
